On Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, the beautifully adorned grounds of the House of Dread at 3 Deanery Road transformed into a sacred space of reverence, cultural pride, and service as the Diaspora African Rastafari Congress (D.A.R.C Foundation) hosted a royal dinner in honor of the Yeshimebet Holistic Care Foundation.
The event, held under the theme of service and spiritual unity, was a celebration of the Foundation’s work in caring for Jamaica’s elderly, aligning perfectly with the Rastafari Creed and its mission of love, community, and righteous living.

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was set. Parking was smoothly organized by DARC members, and guests were warmly welcomed into a spiritually charged environment.
The program began with an opening blessing by Ibby Lion Priest of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, offering Izes (praise) to the Most High and blessing the meal in full reverence.
The legendary Mystic Revelations of Rastafari, once handpicked by His Imperial Majesty Haile SelassieSelassieHis Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia, revered by Rastafari as the representation of Jah on Earth. I himself, filled the air with sacred drumming and chant, creating a mystic and ancestral rhythm that grounded the evening.
A Night of Powerful Words and Performance
JahB, a respected representative of DARC, delivered a stirring keynote, illuminating the Ethiopian National Anthem and its spiritual significance. His words connected the creed of Rastafari with the tangible care being offered by the Yeshimebet Foundation - particularly through their Care Day initiative focused on the elderly. His speech emphasized that “to care for our elders is to fulfill the creed.”
Musical performances from Karbon, Asante Amen, Miriam Simone, and others elevated the vibration of the evening - each bringing their own soulful contribution to the gathering.

A chant led by iYahGift and NyabinghiNyabinghiThe oldest orthodox mansion of Rastafari, featuring sacred drumming, chanting, and spiritual reasoning gatherings. drumming from Mystic Revelations brought the evening to a spiritual crescendo. Members of the Yeshimebet team joined in joyful dance, expressing deep appreciation for the night’s recognition and energy.
Despite a brief early rainfall - seen by many as blessings from the Most High - the event remained vibrant and meaningful throughout.
Esteemed guests such as Dr. Kadamawe Knife, Attorney Marcus Goffe, and many others from diverse walks of life were present, reflecting the wide support for this mission of healing, heritage, and care.
